At YTO Maths Centre, we teach Singapore Maths every year as part of our core curriculum.
Our programme is designed to build strong mathematical foundations and critical thinking skills.

What is Singapore Maths?

Singapore Maths focuses on depth before speed. Learners move from Concrete → Pictorial → Abstract (CPA) understanding, using bar models to visualise relationships and to solve non‑routine word problems with confidence.

• Mastery approach with carefully sequenced topics
• Bar‑model reasoning for multi‑step word problems
• Emphasis on number sense, reasoning, and communication
• Bridges into Olympiad problem‑solving techniques

–Twice-yearly major exams – Our students take two key assessments annually to track their progress and mastery.

–Monthly Chapter-End Tests – Regular testing helps reinforce concepts and ensure long-term retention.

–Comprehensive Coverage – Lessons follow the Singapore MOE curriculum, focusing on problem-solving, model drawing, and logical reasoning.
